The Snow Park in Ski Dubai

On Christmas Day, after we had opened our presents, me and my brothers went Ski Dubai. At Ski Dubai you can have snowboard and ski lessons or you can also go to the Snow Park. It was -1 and very cold.

We went to the Snow Park. We went on the toboggan run. You lie down on a board, the man pushes you and you go through corners very fast.

We also went on the Tube run. You sit on a rubber tube and go very fast spinning down a snow slope. At the bottom you go up a ramp and then back down again and it stops.

We also climbed a snowy wall using a rope. First time my big brother won, second time I won.

Afterwards we were so cold we went to a cafe and drank hot chocholate. I drank strawberry milkshake. And we pulled Christmas crackers.

Camel riding in Bab al Shams

In Bab al Shams, which is a hotel in the desert, I got to hold a falcon. It was very soft to stroke and it had a hood on its head so that it doesn't hurt you when people are holding it.

When it's getting fed they take the hood off and when I went closer the falcon kept swooping past me and flying over my head!

I also got to ride a camel. It was good fun to ride. We were high up and it was bumpy getting down, because first it lowers its front two legs so we were still high in the air and then it lowers its back legs.

In the desert

Yesterday we were going to go to the Dubai Autodrome but it was closed because there was a BAD STORM! So we went into the desert instead. Luckily the storm hadn't reached the desert.

In the desert we drove over the sand, we saw camels and we found two bones. That's me on the right.

The Discovery Centre and aquarium in Dubai Mall

Today I went to Dubai Mall and went to the aquarium and Discovery Centre.

The aquarium has 33,000 animals, it has the largest aquarium window and it has sand tiger sharks , stingrays, giant groupers and loads of big and small fish.

We went into the glass tunnel in the aquarium and saw loads of big sharks and fish surrounding us close up.

In the Discovery centre we saw little sharks, lots of different types of fish, Harbour seals, Humboldt penguins, Jelly fish and piranhas. We also fed fish and stood on the glass viewing platform.
It was very exciting. I liked seeing the seals best. We were very hungry after all that so we had a curry in the food court.

The Hajar Mountains

We drove through the Hajar mountains yesterday on our way to Fujairah from Dubai. We stopped to take photos and we said hi to Wadi Al Hello. These are the mountains when you get through the tunnel.

Climbing in Macedonia

I forgot to upload this when I was on holiday. In Macedonia if I wasn't climbing up poles I was climbing up trees or the wall. I wanted to climb higher but my mum wouldn't let me.

Matka cave

I'm on the mountains and we went on a boat ride on the river Matka to a cave. We had to walk up the mountain to get there. It was dark, cold and full of bat poo. But I enjoyed it.

5 weeks in Macedonia

I'm in Skopje, Macedonia on holiday for 5 weeks. Yesterday we went to a lake in the mountains, the day before we went to pick up our dad from the airport. On the way our mum almost got us arrested for driving without lights!

I have also been to a village and seen my mum's cousin and played with the cats and dogs.

Macedonia is almost as hot as Dubai, but here we don't have any a/c.

When Granddad came to Dubai

Recently Granddad came to Dubai for a visit. It was good to see him. we went out lots with him. the best fun was going to Jumeirah Beach, in between the Burj Al Arab and the Palm. We tried to surf but the waves were too little so we started body boarding.

We also went to the Marina, showed him Ski Dubai and took him to Bab Al Shams in the desert.

My cat

My cat's name is Safi. She is a Siamese cat. She likes to bite and play with string and chases her toy mouse. She also likes to jump to our next door neighbour's garden but she can't jump high enough to get back. She likes to sit on the other neighbour's wall and annoy their dog.

Soaked at the Marina

One of the things I like doing in Dubai is going to the Marina. You can go on boats, you can go to the restaurants and buy big ice creams.


Best of all I like going through the fountains and getting really wet. My brothers like getting wet too and we always go home soaked.

No more school!!!

YES. It's the last day of school and the best part about the summer holidays is everyone is going on holidays. We're going to Macedonia as soon as my brother's passport is sorted out.

Pool party

Yesterday it was my brother Kieran's 9th birthday party. His friends came over and first we went to our pool and played games. It was really hot so the water was warm. That's me underwater.

Then we went to Pizza Hut and there was a beetle and another bug on their patio. Oh, and we ate pizza too.
