Macedonia holiday 3

In Macedonia we have just come back a few days on lake Ohrid in a town called Radozda. We stayed at a hotel which was not the best one but the food was really nice. There is a lake which we caught really small fish in. We caught a few of them and then let them go.

We went out on a rowing boat to the deep part of the lake which is a very big lake. Me and my brother Kieran went jumping off the boat and swam for a bit. Once me and kieran swam back half way to the shore then I got back in the boat but my brother swam at least 15 minutes after me.

My Holiday in Macedonia 2

In Macedonia we went to mountains in Matka and it was lots of fun.

First we went up the mountains then went to a delicious lunch and a drink. Then we went through the more dangerous part of the mountain and when we went far enough we had to stop. My mum only went a little bit then stopped.

My Holiday in Macedonia

In Macedonia we have been doing a lot of things.

We have a pool in our back garden and it is really fun because we wrestle with our cousin Ivana and its really fun. We do dives and cannon balls most of the time.

my first golf lesson

On my birthday for my treat I went out to have my first golf lesson. It was at Al Badia golf course in Dubai. For my first time I think I did fairly well. I learnt my stand for putting and when you go on the drive.

After I had done my lesson I went to do a little putting and a little teeing off. The teeing-off club is called the Iron and the top of it is called the face of the club. I really enjoyed it and I cant wait till my group lessons.

Sega Republic, Dubai Mall

A few weeks ago me, my brothers and my mum and dad went to Sega Republic as a treat because we got good school report cards this term. My small brother could only go on 6 rides because he was too small for some. my brothers and  got all day passes but my mum and dad didn't want to go on rides.

My favourite 3 rides were the sonic hopper which is where you go in seats sets of two in a circle and it goes up and down and spins around and I dont hold on when I go on.

The second one is the safari where you go into a place and the screen makes a movie and it moves up and down but isnt actually moving!

The other one is the spin gear where you have to get into a roller coaster pod and there is two sides on it. Both sides have two seats and at first you go up a steap part but that isnt the fun, when you get to the top you start spinning around and you go upside down and keep going like that until you stop.

My favourite ride was the spin gear, then sonic hopper and then it was the safari number 1. Sega Republic was awesome and I hope to go again.

My time at Dreamland

Last week me, my 2 brothers, my mum, my dad and my best friend Keagan went to a water park called Dreamland in Umm al Quain. It takes quite a bit of time to get there from Dubai but it was worth the wait.

The first ride we did was the Dream Stream. It is where you have either a single or a double rubber ring and you float with the tide. I fell asleep once when we went on the Dream Stream!

Me and Keagan went on every ride in Dreamland. There are a lot of rides.

My three favourite rides were the Blackhole, because you go through a pitch black tunnel in a double rubber ring then fall into the water, the Kamikaze, because it is the highest ride, there are two slides at the top, the blue one is where you go straight down then go in the water and the pink one is where you go down then straight then down into the water and the Family ride because you go up ramps and then into the water.

At first me and Keagan were scared to go on a ride called the Twister but then in the end we went on it and it was really fun. It was scary because you go through a pipe and then fall into a funnel kind of thing then you fall into 3 metres deep water!

My brothers birthday party

At my older brothers birthday he had a sleep over party and we had 8 friends. first we went to watch prince of persia the movie. It was awsome.

Then we went to our house and played on the xbox and played foosball which was his birthday present from our family. After that we had a water fight and wrestled in the pool. At night we had a bonfire with marshmallows, I like to set mine on fire the throw it in the bonfire. When we were playing football I accidently kicked the ball on fire. When we went back in the house we stayed up all night. It was great.

My school's world record

Our school was asked to go paint a giant canvas (painting) of the world to try get into the Guinness World Records 2011. I was painting the border of a rainforest.

We only had 3 minutes but we beat the World Record. We had 500 people painting at once! We did it in the new Mirdif City Centre in Dubai.

School astronaut visit

Here in my school we had an astronaut visit and I had a chance to ask him a question. His name was Barry E 'Butch' Wilmore. He went to the Space Station.

My question was, what ambition made you want to go into space?

He said that it when he was a boy he had always been good at sports but he wanted to go to space. He said that when he was a boy he asked his mum lots of questions about how things happen so he went up into space to try and find out himself.

Stargate theme park

Today I went to a theme park called Stargate in Zabeel Park, Dubai. We went there because it was my little brother's birthday 4 days ago (Feb 23) and we went there for his birthday treat.

The theme park is new so there was quite a lot of people there. There are 7 things you can ride on and lots of arcade games. We were allowed to go on 3 things.

We went on the bumper cars twice. My little brother drove the kid's go karts and me and my big brother and his friend drove the adult go karts. I thought that both the rides were good but I prefer the bumper cars because they were just a bit more fun to me and in the go karts I was going fast but it wasn't as fast as I wanted. Then when I was used to that speed they made it go really fast and I kept crashing!

We were going to go on the rollar coaster but we spent our money on our second bumper car ride.

Then we went for lunch. While my mum and dad had lunch we played stuck in the mud.

I had a great time and can't wait till I go again.

Holidays

At school we had 2 days of holiday and I went to my friend's golf lessons and yesterday I went to my mum's golf at Al Badia and we had food at the restaurant. The bathrooms were so fancy they even had a Jacuzzi!
It was great.

Going on a cruise ship (visit)

Today we went to a cruise ship docked in Dubai Port Rashid. The ship is called Costa Luminosa. We were invited to go have lunch and look around the ship.

The ship has 11 decks and 2 sky decks. The cruise ship also had a casino and a kids game area! we went to lunch there and the food was great.
After lunch we went to the 3D movie theatre and we watched a mini movie in 3D. The movie was about a ride through a haunted, abandoned gold mine. It was like a rollercoaster because we were in a wagon that was moving and our chairs kept moving around and water and air was spraying at us. It actually like we going through the gold mine and there was lots of booby traps set in it and stuff kept flying at us.

The big hailstorm

On New Year’s Day we were at home and there was heavy rain in Dubai which then turned into a hailstorm. There was lots of thunder and lightning. The rain was pouring down and one side of the house was flooded outside. We played in the flooded area after the rain stopped.

What I did for Christmas

We went to Wafi Mall the weekend before Christmas to see Santa. It was quite cool. We got stuffed animals. After, we went to a play area called Encounter Zone and had lunch at Planet Hollywood.

On Christmas day, we had to wake up when the sun rose, then I got to wake up my big brother Kieran so that we could bring our stockings into our Mum and Dad’s bedroom. My other brother was already awake.

After about an hour, we all opened our presents. We got nice presents. I got a wrestling ring, a match attacks book with 3 packets, two wrestlers, two PSP games and a football net. Me and my brothers also bought an X-Box a few days later with our Christmas money from our Nanny and Granddad.

After we opened our present and played a bit with our toys, we went to a delicious buffet with some friends. It was in the golf club at Dubai Creek. The temperature was fine. While we were there I saw a friend that used to go to our school.

I enjoyed my Christmas Day.

On New Year’s Eve we had a garden party at our house, which was really fun. Lots of our friends came round. We played while the parents talked and drank. We played football, cricket and on the X-Box. The party was great, we also got to stay up until New Year!

Being a player escort at the FIFA World Club Cup

Last Saturday I was a player escort in the FIFA World Club Cup. It was really fun because I walked out on a football pitch with a player called Jose Gonzalez from a team called Atlante.

Atlante is a Mexican team. It was really fun but we had to wait around for 2 hours before we got to do the first practice. It was boring that part because we weren’t allowed to talk all that time.

When our practice was finished I knew I would do well out on the pitch. The match was in Zayed Sports stadium in Abu Dhabi and the stadium looked a little bit round.

When it was the actual match I was really nervous being looked at by the crowd because I have never experienced being on a real football pitch before. Once I had finished being a player escort I watched the match from the stands.

Atlante beat Auckland 3 - 0.After the match ended I went to the fan zone and got my face painted.

Dolphin watching in Musandam, Oman

A few months ago we went to Oman. Oman is a country next to the UAE. We went to a place called Musandam and stayed in a hotel called Khasab hotel.

Musandam is a place high into the mountains. After we had a rest we went on a boat ride on a dhow to see dolphins. It took a long time to see the dolphins but we did see them. The dophins jumped in and out of the water and they swam next to our boat! The dolphins were great.

When we got to Telegraph Island we got out our snorkling kits. When we got in the water it was warm and I lost a flipper. Later on someone got it, then me my big brother and my dad went swimming, but I used a body board. It was good fun.

Then the next day I went on a morning drive with my dad and brother at the bottom of the mountain. We saw lots of goats in a group. But some were alone. The morning drive was really good.

After we went driving up a mountain. There was no road onlya path. It was really rocky and we stopped in certain places to take photos. We could see a big view from the top. Some of the time we drove right at the edge. It was exellent.

On our way home we stopped at a beach to play. The beach was good and it had proper big waves.

Then we drove home to Dubai.

Al Ain holiday

Last week we went to Al Ain, which is a town in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Al Ain is a desert town next to some mountains. Al Ain is famous for the man who founded the U.A.E and for natural spring water.

We were in a hotel on the mountain, which is called Jebel Hafeet. The hotel was really big. The hotel had a big swimming pool and mini golf. There is a jacuzi that has places that you can lie down. And there is a water slide pool. The water slides are all good but the fastest is the best.

The mini golf has ten holes and my best score was two putts in the hole.

For breakfast and dinner we had a buffet.

One evening we went to Al Ain night zoo and saw lots of animals like lions and zebras. The night zoo is very good.

I thought Al Ain was very good and we also went with friends!
